May 6: A Conversation with the Canadian Bar Association

As we continue to advocate for more access to services and opportunities for internationally trained lawyers (“ITLs”), our friends at the Canadian Bar Association – Alberta Branch (“CBA Alberta”) have expressed their interest and support in helping us along. We have been working hard with CBA Alberta to form an “Internationally Trained Lawyers” Section that not only supports your legal career needs, but also provides ITLs with representation and influence within the Canadian Bar Association.

CBA Alberta would like to invite all ITLs to a luncheon event:

Date and time: May 6, 2016 at 12:00pm

Location: Canadian Bar Association, 710, 777 – 8 Avenue SW, Calgary AB

The purpose of this lunch is to seek input into how CBA Alberta can help all ITLs succeed, and to exchange stories on our experiences and journeys.

Free to attend, please RSVP here: http://www.cbapd.org/details_en.aspx?id=AB_SITL6516

This is an important first step in opening up the dialogue between ITLs and the Canadian Bar Association, please join us for this invaluable discussion.

Thank you,

GLC
