The Canadian Bar Association (“CBA”) Internationally Trained Lawyers (“ITL”) subsection in Calgary, Alberta wish to invite everyone to their launch event that will take place on October 27, 2016 at 5:30 pm at the CBA’s office in Calgary (710, 777-8th Avenue S.W.).
The goal of this new subsection as posted earlier this summer is to respond to the rapidly changing legal landscape in Alberta and to help promote just like us at Global Lawyers of Canada (“GLC”), the equity and diversity in the legal profession. In particular however, their focus is on helping ITLs and foreign trained law students integrate into the Canadian legal market place by providing educational resources and support.
